3207284 - Job Country field from PaymentInformationDetailV3 is not populated when data is inserted through OData API

When upserting data into PaymentInformationDetailV3 using OData API, the "Job country/region" field in employee's profile is not getting populated.

However, when doing an import using "Import Employee Data", the field properly populates data.

In both methods no data is provided to "Job country/region" field in the API payload and in the CSV file being imported, so the data is expected to be populated automatically.

This is a known issue currently being investigated by the SF Engineering team. The current plan is to have a fix for the issue on 2022 2H Release.

In the meanwhile the workaround would be using the "Import Employee Data" tool to get the field populated.
