3207312 - A Production Request Displays in the Product Planning Screen of its Output Product, but Doesn't Display in the Product Planning Screen of its Input Product.

A production request displays in the Product Planning Details screen of its output product as supply, you expect it will also display in the Product Planning Details screen of its input product as dependent demand, but it doesn't.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to work center Supply Planning.
2. Go to view Products.
3. Search product XXX (XXX represents the output product ID) in planning area PA_1 (PA_1 represents the ID of planning area), click Open.
4. In the screen "Product Planning Details: XXX/PA_1", there is a production requests PR_1 (PR_1 represents the ID of production request) as supply.
5. Supply Planning - Products, search product YYY (YYY represents the input product ID) in planning area PA_1, click Open.
6. In the screen "Product Planning Details: YYY/PA_1", PR_1 is not displayed.

In the corresponding production tasks of production request PR_1, the input product YYY has "Confirmation Finished" ticked, you can also see the open quantity is zero.

System behaves as designed. If you want PR_1 displays in the screen "Product Planning Details: YYY/PA_1", you can untick "Confirmation Finished" for this input product YYY in related production tasks.
