3207363 - Setting Secured to No Raises Error Messsage In Time Related Object Definitions - 1H 2022

You have noticed that, upon trying to change the security of  Time Off/Time Sheet objects to 'No', the error on changing Secured to 'Changing the object definition so that it is not secured is not allowed because this can cause security and data privacy issues' is being thrown.

1. Navigate to Configure Object Definitions;
2. Select any Time Off/Time Sheet related object (i.e Employee Time);
3. Under 'Security', set the value f 'Secured' to 'No';
4. Observe that the error message is raised, as shown below:

This is expected behavior. After the 1H 2022 release, as part of general Role-Based Permission (RBP) enforcements, the deactivation of entities previously secured by RBP is prevented.

Make sure to provide the permissions under the selected Permission Category. By default, they're found under 'Time Management Object Permissions', but this can be changed from the dropdown list in the respective Object.
