3208032 - Endless Loop when Opening Attachments


You are working with Tickets and notices that in some occasions, when opening an attachment, the system freezes.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Service work center.
  2. Select the Tickets view.
  3. Open Ticket ID 123 (123 represents the Ticket ID).
  4. Go to the Interactions tab.
  5. Click on the three dots and then Forward on the interaction that has the affected attachment.
  6. On the pop-up to send email, open the attachment.
  7. System freezes.


One possible cause is the fact that there is more than one attachment with the same name, or a very similar one. System expects the first 32 characters of an attachment to be an unique string, including the extension.


Changing the attachments name to different ones should solve this.
