3208112 - Error: "Cannot change status; mass data run XXX is scheduled" when trying to set a mass data run status as Obsolete

You are trying to set a mass data run (MDRO) as Obsolete, but the system is returning the error message:

• Cannot change status; mass data run ABC is scheduled (ABC represents the Run ID).

We will take as example the Production Control work center - Order Release Run view, but this applies to any run in the system.

1. Go to Production Control work center.
2. Go to Order Release Run view.
3. Search for the Run ID: ABC.
4. Click Actions and select "Set To Obsolete".
5. The mentioned error appears: "Cannot change status; mass data run ABC is scheduled".

You have not cancelled the Background Job under Background Jobs view.

There are two methods to cancel the job:

• Option 1:

1. Go to Application and User Management work center.
2. Go to Background Jobs view.
3. Find and select the required Run ID in the Scheduled query filter.
4. Click Cancel Job.
5. If you do not find the Scheduled job, please click the Advanced Filter.
6. Change Status to Completed.
7. Click Go.
8. Locate the Run ID and click Cancel Job.
   
   

• Option 2:

1. Go to Production Control - Order Creation Run view.
2. Select the Run ID and Click View Jobs.
3. Keep Scheduled Jobs in query, and click on Advanced Filter.
4. Change Status to Completed, click Go.
5. Select the job and click Cancel Job.

Now you can set the run as obsolete:

1. Go to Production Control work center.
2. Go to Order Release Run view.
3. Select the Run ID.
4. Click Actions and select "Set To Obsolete".
   
   

Note: These resolution steps apply to all runs in the system.
