3208112 - System triggers error "Cannot change status; mass data run xxx is scheduled" when trying to set MDRO status as Obsolete

You are trying set MDRO run as Obsolete, System triggers error message "Cannot change status; mass data run KLM is scheduled" *KLM refers to Active Order run id.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Production Control Work Center
2. Go to Order Release Run View
3. Search for Run id KLM
4. Select Actions--> Select "Set To Obsolete"
5. Error appears "Cannot change status; mass data run VALIDATION_ORDREPRODUCTION is scheduled" 

As you have not set as Obsolete under

1. Go to Application and User Management Work Center
2. Go to Background Jobs View
3. Search and Select MDRO KLM
4. You see the KLM status as Released

In order to solve the follow the below steps

1. Go to Application and User Management Work Center
2. Go to Background Jobs View
3. Search and Select MDRO KLM
4. You see the KLM status as Released
5.  Click Cancel

1. Go to Production Control Work Center
2. Go to Order Release Run View
3. Search for Run id VALIDATION_ORDREPRODUCTION
4. Select Actions--> Select "Set To Obsolete"

This should solve the issue

Note: This resolution steps applies to all MDROs if in case you come across same error message.
