SAP SuccessFactors Reward and Recognition

1. Go to Compensation > Reward and Recognition
2. Check the value under Redeem Rewards
   
3. Scroll to Awards History > Received > View All
4. Award value will be different than the Redeem Rewards. Award value is displayed correctly. 
   

This is a known issue that happens when the conversion Rate for points-based programs is set to anything but 1. The balance under Redeem Rewards will display the awarded points and not the actual award value. In the given screenshot, conversion rate for points-based programs is set to 0.1.

For Ex : Points awarded = 100 points

USD to point conversion = 0.1

Award value = $10 USD

Redeem Balance shows 100 USD (points awarded) instead of the award value.

The engineering team has fixed this issue via patch released on 3rd June 2022 (PTCH-38662).

The data (reward balance) for users who had awards approved after the prod release (20th May 2022) until patch fix (3rd June 2022) needs to be corrected via DB script. 

For users with incorrect reward balance and have already redeemed the awards - running the DB script would create negative balance in the screen as shown below. The redeem button will not be available for users with negative balance. 



OPTIONAL STEP : If you don't want to see this negative balance, it can be adjusted (or zeroed) by using mass upload of spot awards. However, make sure the relevant points are used to create the award and not the dollar value (50.57 AUD) seen in the UI.
