3208257 - Latest Homepage custom cards Based On Start Date is not working for pre day 1 users

Symptom

Creating a custom card on the Latest Homepage, if using the Based on Start Date option, nobody would see the card.

Updated to Always and the card is visible.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0

Reproducing the Issue

Pre-Requisites:

Latest Homepage - see KBA - 2979275 - New Experience for the SAP SuccessFactors Home Page

  1. Go to Manage Homepage
  2. Organizational Updates
  3. Add card > create a customer card and use the option in the last section "Based on Start Date" - here you set the number of days before the start date to display the card and the number of days after the start date

Cause

Unfortunately, there is no dependence on new hire StartDate (known limitation at this moment).

Resolution

Please set visible in following options:

1) Always

2) Selected timeframe.
