3208481 - How are the "Candidate Type When Hired" values determined for candidates - Recruiting Management

Symptom

How are the "Candidate Type When Hired" values determined for candidates in Ad-Hoc Reporting?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Resolution

The "Candidate Type When Hired" value is captured in Ad-Hoc information based on the following:

  • 1- Internal - for existing internal candidates & for converted candidates who have applied & moved to hired status.
  • 2- External - when external candidate has applied & moved to hired status.
  • 3- Alumni - when a deconverted candidate has applied & moved to hired status.

Please note:

  • Alumni is when External candidate was hired then the External candidate was converted to Internal then the employee left the company, their Internal Candidate was deconverted back to External and then External candidate was Rehired.
  • If the candidate is forwarded to the job requisition but hasn't applied (Non-Applicant), the "Candidate Type When Hired" value will be blank.
