Date filter prompt not appearing in Report Story

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
People Analytics Report Story

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to instance
  2. Proceed to report center
  3. Edit report story
  4. No Date Filter prompting

Cause

  • No Tables are created within the story using that query.
  • Prompt for the data set has not been set.

Resolution

Create a table under the selected datasource.

Set the prompt for the data source:

  1. Under data > click the icon "{}",
  2. Select the data source, it will prompt the variables settings 
  3. Click "Automatically open prompt when story opens"
