3208722 - Application always use the last saved values for dynamic variables

You use BW4 Live models with prompts which have default values set in the backend.

You find that for Applications, they always use the last saved values for dynamic variables instead of the backend default values.

SAP Analytics Cloud.

The option “Keep last saved values for dynamic variables” is checked for the model prompting settings.

Change the setting in the way below:

1. Open the model of the Application in edit mode.
2. Click {} in the “Data” toolbar and click each data model.
3. Make sure “Keep last saved values for dynamic variables” is unchecked in the “Set Variables for…” dialog.
4. Save the model.
5. You may need to re-create bookmarks for the updated model.
