3209148 - You Cannot Edit the Tax Details in the Service Confirmation Invoice Requests

You want to edit the tax details on a Service Confirmation Invoice Request, but you find that the tax related fields are grayed out.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Customer Invoicing work center.
2. Select the Invoice Requests view.
3. Search for ID ABC (ABC represents the ID of the Service Confirmation Invoice Requests).
4. Click Edit.
5. Navigate to the Items tab.

In the Taxes sub tab, you can see the tax details, for example Tax Code fields is not editable.

This is an invoice request with type Service Confirmation Invoice Requests.

For invoice requests of type  Service Confirmation, in order to change the Tax Code you need to make the changes in the  Service Confirmation document.

This is the current system behavior.

You can change the tax code in the  Service Confirmation document or you can edit the tax code data when invoicing the document.
