3209280 - Error "journals are not enabled" occurs when accessing journals

Symptom

In BPC embedded environment

  • On the target system, the journal template is empty, and it is not possible to create new journal template after transport.
  • When navigating to Consolidation -< Journals, an error occurs: journals are not enabled.
  • Journal ADSO is not active and does not exist in BW modeling tool. Follow KBA 2882149 to change namespace 1BW to modifiable in SE06 does not help.
  • KBA 3112079 does not resolve the issue.
