3209313 - No accrual posted after hire - 1H 2022 release

Symptom

Below behaviors observed after 1H-2022 release. 

  • After hiring or when the time profile changed for the employee,  there is no accrual got posted.
  • Accrual calendar job response has error "You cannot create more than one time account detail in the rule"

     

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Off

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure accrual rule with two CREATE statement. 
  2. Hire a new employee and observe that no accruals got posted. 

Cause

Incorrect accrual rule configuration. 

Resolution

Only one time account posting (Time Account Detail entry) can be created for each rule execution. Having more than one CREATE statement in accrual rule is an incorrect configuration. From this release(1H-2022), guardrail have been introduced such that no accruals will be posted if the rule has more than one CREATE statement. 

Once the rule corrected, perform accrual calendar execution so that the new hire employees will get the required leave quota.
