3209390 - "Create an Account" showing up in English instead of Simplified Chinese - H12022 - Recruiting Management

When a candidate is using Simplified Chinese (zh_CN), when they go to the Login in Page of the Careers Site, there is text showing up in English for "Create an Account" instead of it showing in Simplified Chinese:

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Careers Site.
  2. Select Language > Simplified Chinese.
  3. Select Login
  4. You can see English text for "Create an Account" instead of it being in Simplified Chinese.

We have identified that the key RECRUITING_EXT_LOGIN_CREATE_ACCOUNT is “null” in the Language Pack for Simplified Chinese, hence it is defaulting to Chinese.

The Engineering team is aware of this issue and is working to provide a solution soon.

As a workaround, please manually add the missing message key (RECRUITING_EXT_LOGIN_CREATE_ACCOUNT) to the tier 3 language packs custom locale file.

For more information on how to do this, please refer to KBA: 2576546 - Using the Manage Language Feature to Change Labels in SuccessFactors.
