Symptom

When you scope the iRPA scoping question (Do you want to enable integration with SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation?) system throws below error

Scoping of SAP intelligent RPA Not permitted, eligible license missing

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
  2. Select Implementations Projects view.
  3. Select the First Implementation/Change project and select Edit Project Scope button
  4. Go to Questions section
  5. Expand: Communication and Information Exchange -> Integration with External Applications and Solutions
  6. Select Integration Scenarios for Cloud Solutions from SAP
  7. Check the question "Do you want to enable integration with SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation?"
  8. Error Occurs when performing Finish

Cause

Scoping of iRPA is only allowed for Production Tenant and Test Tenant. if you are attempting to perform the scoping in any other tenant then this issue occurs (eg: Sales Demo tenant)

Resolution

You can scope IRPA in test and production systems.
