3210126 - Inconsistency in saving job profile in requisition - Recruiting Management

Symptom

Unable to save updates to specific sections of the Job Profile in a Job Requisition, including changes to the Job Posting Description in the Job Profile tab.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Recruiting, Access Job Requisition tab
  2. Open any Job Requisition
  3. Open the Job Profile tab
  4. Update content in the section of the Job Profile then click done
  5. The typed in message in the section is wiped out or not saved.

Cause

There is a business rule linked in the Job Profile Object.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, remove the business rules linked to the Job Profile fields.

Steps to Identify and Remove the Business Rule:

  1. Go to Admin Center → Configure Object Definition → Job Profile.
  2. Identify the field where the issue occurs (e.g., Short Description).
  3. Click on the field details to view the business rules linked to that field.
  4. Remove the linked business rule(s) causing the issue.
