3210590 - How to define a user status as initial in Define Business Transaction Control

Symptom

When setting a user status in SSCUI Define Business Transaction Control, there is a need to set a user status as initial.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Resolution

According to the Configuration Help, after selecting a row in Define Status Profile and choosing the Define Business Transaction Controls view, it is possible to create business transaction controls for the status profile and specify whether the blocking of business transactions is to be activated immediately. “Activated immediately” means that the blocking is not triggered by the execution of another business transaction.

A user status can be set as initial by enabling the Activate option in Define Business Transaction Controls.

After assigning the profile to the order type and creating a new production order, the initial user status is automatically assigned.
