3210598 - When changing Pending Data to Yes for Income Tax Declaration and error is faced

Symptom

When updating the flag Pending Data to Yes for Income Tax Declaration object the error "You cant make changes to the Pending Data field because it is fixed to the SAP SuccessFactors delivered object definition ."

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to configure object definition
  2. Select object definition and ItDeclaration
  3. Take action->make correction
  4. Update the field "pending data" to yes 
  5. Save and receive the error "You cant make changes to the Pending Data field because it is fixed to the SAP SuccessFactors delivered object definition ."

Cause

Income Tax Declaration object does not suport the Pending Data=Yes and that is the reason of the error. 

Resolution

This validation is hardcoded and it is currently the system design.
