3210641 - Performance Management report Generates Blank Goal IDs

Symptom

When generating a report with performance management, the Goal ID column has blank values.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Home dropdown > Reporting 
  2. Create report on Performance Management and include the field for Goal ID
  3. Generate report to see the Goal ID column is blank

Cause

This is due to the way performance records are designed to work. Each Goal ID within the performance form has multiple entries because of backend fields used by the reporting framework.

Resolution

  1. In the report, navigate to the Filters pill
  2. Select to Refine Criteria
  3. Select Goals > Select Goal ID > By Rule tab > In the dropdown, select Is not null > Finished > Finished
