3210710 - Error /FTI/WEBGUI_MSG031 happens when modifying SSCUI 102530

Symptom

You are trying to add new entries into SSCUI 102530 Maintain Settings for Event-Based Revenue Recognition.

You met error when clicking save button:

Invalid namespace for Rule number

Message no. /FTI/WEBGUI_MSG031

Reproducing the Issue

Enter new entry in SSCUI 102530 Maintain Settings for Event-Based Revenue Recognition.

Cause

The namespace you used is not allowed by SAP default setting.

Sequence field allows 4 digits number, when you enter 1, for example, it is interpreted as 0001.
Number starts with '0' is considered as SAP Reserved numeric fields, which is a namespace restricted for SAP.

Resolution

Kindly use the rule number like 1000 - 1999.
