3210734 - Error "You are not authorized to use transaction FB00" in App Create Outgoing Invoices

Symptom

When selecting "Editing options" in app "Create Outgoing Invoices" the following error occurs:
"You are not authorized to use transaction FB00".

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open "Create Outgoing Invoices" app.
  2. Click "Editing options".
  3. The error "You are not authorized to use transaction FB00" occurs.

Cause

Missing business catalog assignment.
The navigation of "Editing options" in "Create Outgoing Invoices" app needs business catalog "SAP_FIN_BC_AP_INVOICES_PC" (Accounts Payable - Invoices).

Resolution

  1. Assign the business catalog "SAP_FIN_BC_AP_INVOICES_PC" to business role for user concerned.
  2. Or kindly use the "Edit Options for Journal Entries - My Settings" app instead, which have the same functionality.
