3211434 - Message: “Version is blocked in OBP” in an Order-based planning area with flexible master data (SAP7F)

You use order-based planning (OBP) with flexible master data. After a recent change in the configuration of master data types, planning area or business meanings for order-based planning, some features stop to work. For instance, you receive one of the following messages:

 - An order-based planning run job fails with the error: “Selected planning area/version cannot be used in OBP”.

- In order-based planning apps, it is not possible to change data anymore. You get the message: “Version is blocked in OBP”.

- If you are using real-time integration (RTI), the integration stops with a message referring to blocked OBP version.
