3211938 - Error When Cancelling Pending Leave Request

When employee tries to cancel the pending leave request, below error is raised:

"Sorry, you cannot cancel this absence request yet. It might have been created by someone else (for example, an admin or manager), or the status might have switched from approved back to pending because of recent changes. Either way, you have to wait until an admin or manager has approved the most recent changes to the absence request before you can cancel it."

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Off

1. Navigate to ESS UI / as an Admin from Admin Workbench.
2. Try to cancel the pending leave request,
3. Error occurs: "Sorry, you cannot cancel this absence request yet. It might have been created by someone else (for example, an admin or manager), or the status might have switched from approved back to pending because of recent changes. Either way, you have to wait until an admin or manager has approved the most recent changes to the absence request before you can cancel it"

This is a standard validation triggered if cancellation workflow is active for the Time Type. With this validation we make sure that the employee cannot cancel an Absence bypassing the cancellation workflow. 

1. Absence was created and approved.
2. Employee edits that absence and submit-> The status is set to pending.
3. Now employee tries to cancel the leave request - Error raised.

Approver needs to decline the workflow request, so that employee time status will be set to "Declined".
