Symptom
Error "App could not be opened either due to an incorrect SAP Fiori launchpad configuration or a missing role assignment" occurs when clicking the "Create" button under the drop-down list of "Create Service Order" in the "Manage Service Orders" app.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud
Resolution
Please assign the business catalog "SAP_CRM_BC_SERV_PROCORDER_PC" (Service - Process Service Order) to the business roles of the user. The detailed steps are:
- Open the "Maintain Business Users" app and search for the business user.
- Select one of its business roles under the "ASSIGNED BUSINESS ROLES" tab and click into it.
- Click the "Add" button in edit mode under the "assigned business catalog" tab.
- Search for the business catalog "SAP_CRM_BC_SERV_PROCORDER_PC" and click the "Apply" button.
