3212883 - Recruiter receives DocuSign Account Activation email when sending offer letter - Legacy Docusign Authentication

Symptom

When a recruiter sends an online offer to a candidate, they receive an email from DocuSign to active the account. 

The email is sent from DocuSign with the subject [EXTERNAL] Account Activation. However, recruiters account on DocuSign is already active and has all necessary permissions. 

Note: This issue happens only for customers using the legacy DocuSign integration. The customers that already migrated to Oauth Authentication does not receive the email. 

 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM) - All versions

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Start the Offer Letter generation for a candidate.
  2. Click online offer with eSignature.
  3. Docusign offer letter loads. 
  4. At the same time, recruiter receives the Account Activation email.

Cause

This is a DocuSign integration problem. 

Resolution

DocuSign engineering team is investigating the cause of the issue. This problem does not prevent the recruiter to send the online Offer and the candidate can act on it with no issues.
