3212910 - Freight Amount Shown Separately for Line Items in Sales Order Total Pricing

The freight amount is not aggregated in the Total Pricing section of Sales Order XYZ. (XYZ represents the ID of the sales order)

Instead, the manually added freight amount is displayed separately for each line item. 

 SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Sales Order work center.
2. Navigate to the Sales Orders view.
3. Search for Sales Order XYZ.
4. Navigate to the Pricing and Invoicing tab and select the Pricing sub-tab.
5. Under the Item Pricing section, observe that the "Freight" price component has been added manually for different line items.
6. Under the Total Pricing section, observe that the manually added freight amount is displayed separately for each line item instead of being aggregated.

In the Business Configuration, the scoping question "Do you bill a fixed freight amount per order?" is selected.
When this scoping question is in scope, the system displays manually added freight amounts separately for the respective line items in the Total Pricing section of the Sales Order.

No correction is required, as this is the expected system behavior based on the selected scoping Question.
 

When "Do you bill a fixed freight amount per order?" is scoped, manually added freight amounts are displayed separately for the line items in the Total Pricing section of the Sales Order.
However, in the corresponding Customer Invoice, the freight amounts are aggregated and displayed as a combined amount rather than separately for each line item.

Alternatively, if the scoping question "Do you calculate freight amount based on net weight?" is selected, the freight amount is displayed as an aggregated amount in the Total Pricing section of the Sales Order. This is the system expected behavior.

To Access the Relevant Scoping Questions:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the relevant implementation project.
4. Click on Edit Project Scope.
5. Navigate to Step 4 – Questions.
6. Go to General Business Data → Product and Service Pricing → Sales Price Specifications.
7. The following scoping questions are available:
   • Do you calculate freight amount based on net weight?
   • Do you bill a fixed freight amount per order?
8. Select the scoping question applicable to the business scenario and complete the scoping by clicking Finish.

The appropriate scoping question should be selected based on the business requirement.
