3213174 - Attachment Error On Save Of Portlet "The document attachment ID you have provided is incorrect"

Error on save of portlet consisting of an attachment field:

"The document attachment ID you have provided is incorrect. Please provide an attachment ID that is associated with this user and entity. To find the attachment ID, use Ad hoc reporting".

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Job Information

1. Navigate to Employee's profile.
2. Click on history button of Job information portlet
3. Select a record -> Click on edit button
4. Change any value and Save
5. Error shows: 'The document attachment ID you have provided is incorrect. Please provide an attachment ID that is associated with this.'

This is an expected behavior if the attachment has been referenced between two users or persons or two different entities of the same person.

Follow the below steps to resolve the issue:

1. Open history UI of Job Information of employee.
2. Click Edit button and find the attachment.
3. Click the attachment file name and download this attachment.
4. Delete the attachment, and then upload the attachment(which was just download) again.
5. Save -> There will not be any error after the save.
