3213212 - "Exception thrown when trying to communicate with Job Server" error dropped in Data Services Management Console while trying to execute batch job - SAP Data Services

• The following error occurs while executing batch job in Data Services Management Console:
  
  [Exception thrown when trying to communicate with Job Server:<job server>:<port number>. The batch job cannot be started. Check the Job Server '<job server>:<port number>' log to see the problem. ]
  
  
  
  
• While trying to create a new job server in Data Services Server Manager (svrcfg), the following error occurs:
  

  Enter the repository username: <user name>
  Enter the repository password (not echoed): <password>
  Confirm the repository password (not echoed): sh: line 1: 14789 Segmentation fault repoman -<repository> -P'<password>' -S<database name> -N<database type> -Q -p<port number> -V'<database version>' -s -v <database version>
