3213425 - Migration Cockpit does not allow for the update of existing items

Symptom

Errors are encountered during the migration of one or more of the following objects:

  • Product - extend existing record by new org levels
  • Product - extend existing record with long text

 Errors such as the following may occur:

  • "You transferred the value ... in field ... provided on sheet/staging table Plant Data which has already an existing value ... in the related product master."
    OR
    "You can't change the value of ... in field ... CNV_DMC_SIN529"

IMPORTANT: The issue is occurring only with existing items, as new items do not trigger these errors.
