Symptom

  • "A condition on an object refers to an object from another query that has a different type. (IES 10887)Error:" error message appears when refreshing a Web Intelligence report based on Excel datasource.
  • The issue seen for the first time after upgrading to BI 4.2 SP9 Patch 300.
  • The issue is reproducible with the migrated WebI reports only, newly created WebI reports based on the same Excel datasource the issue is not seen.
  • The error is seen in Web Intelligence Rich Client as well.
