3214646 - Error: Action not permitted; confirmations already exist for confirmation group.

When you are trying to confirm the task via action "Confirm as Planned" , system throws below errors:-

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Production Control work center.
2. Go to the Task Control view.
3. Find the required Task ID.
4. Select and choose Confirm.
5. Then task window opens, now choose to Confirm as Planned.
6. The system throws the above error messages.

Since the user has changed the fields like LOA, Identified stock, etc., (Anything other than quantity field) in the required task then the status gets changed from "Not Started" to "In Progress" which states that the processing of the task has begun.  This is an expected scenario when some fields are changed for the task therefore option "Confirm as planned" does not work in this scenario.

1. Go to the Production Control work center.
2. Go to the Task Control view.
3. Find the required Task ID.
4. Select and choose Confirm.
5. Then task window opens, and select the required rows with line items.
6. Here a user must enter either the Quantity manually or use the "Propose Quantity and Logistics Area" action and can finish the task manually.
