3214698 - Story widgets don't load and display data in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

When opening a story it will only load partially in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

• Some widgets will display data correctly.
• Some widgets will indicate loading with the 3 dots but will not complete and will not display data.
• Some widgets will run to an error message: "Error: [Cannot read properties of null (reading 'getName')]."  

The issue appears intermittently. Reloading the story can temporarily solve it.

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2022.8.10

1. Logon to SAC.
2. Open up a story.
3. Observe that the widgets will keep indicating that they are loading without displaying any data, some even run to an error message.
