3214778 - DBT3514W db2prereqcheck utility failed to find the 32-bit library files.

Symptom

You're doing a Db2 installation, upgrade or just running 'db2prereqcheck' standalone,  and encounter one or more of the following warning messages:

DBT3514W  The db2prereqcheck utility failed to find the following 32-bit library file: "/lib/libpam.so*".
DBT3514W  The db2prereqcheck utility failed to find the following 32-bit library file: "libstdc++.so.6".
DBT3514W  The db2prereqcheck utility failed to find the following 32-bit library file: "libaio.so.1".
