3214990 - Failed to get file. The requested file does not exist. error occurs in Event Viewer on a BI 4.x system

Symptom

  • The following error occurs on a BI 4.x system, seen in the event viewer:
    Failed to get file. The requested file does not exist. 

  • It is seen at the same time in Instance Manager that there are Analysis Office (AO) schedules which are failing with an error:
    login error. [The user name or password is incorrect.]: [CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged]
