Symptom

  • Without apparent reason, users started getting an error when navigating to tiles:
    App could not be opened because the SAP UI5 component of the application could not be loaded.
     
  • Clicking in View Details reveals the following message:
    Failed to load UI5 component for navigation intent "<NAVIGATION_INTENT>

  • Checking Browser Console traces reveal many errors to load content under https://sapui5.hana.ondemand.com/<SAP_UI5_VERSION>/resources

  • The SAPUI5 version mentioned on console traces is listed as Out of maintenance in SAPUI5 Versions Maintenance Status
