3215232 - Opening a story which includes a Line Chart with Forecast shows "Page Unresponsive" error in SAP Analytics Cloud

• When opening a Story in SAP Analytics Cloud, which contains a Line Chart with Forecast added the following error is shown;
  • "The Page is not responding" / "Page unresponsive"
• Google Chrome / Microsoft Edge hangs after successfully opening the Story and data is loaded
• After Story is loaded, no user actions can be completed, as the Story doesn't respond to any clicks and then the error is shown

• SAP Analytics Cloud Wave Release 2022.8+
• Acquired Model

1. Log in to SAP Analytics Cloud
2. Open a Story using a Line Chart with "Forecast" enabled
3. Wait 10 seconds, and observe the Story doesn't respond to any user inputs (eg. clicking charts / changing Story filters etc)
4. Google Chrome / Microsoft Edge tab hangs and the error is shown

• The issue is currently under investigation by the Development Team

Workaround

• Wait until the forecast eventually loads on the widget, and remove the widget and save the story
• Rebuild the Line Chart without adding a Forecast
