Symptom

Below Error received in ToDo Tile when accessing via Mobile for user .

'Fail to Fetch Data'

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to customer instanace .
  2. Proxy as affected user  and enable QR Code.
  3. Scan and login via Android Phone.
  4. Error received in ToDo  'Fail to Fetch Data'.

Cause

Below Permission is missing in the RBP for the affected user :

  • Manage Integration Tools:
    Allow Admin to Access OData API through Basic Authentication
  • Metadata Framework:
    Access to non-secured objects (previously known as 'Read/Write Permission on Metadata Framework')

Resolution

Once the below required permission has been provided,the error will no longer occuring.

  • Manage Integration Tools:
    Allow Admin to Access OData API through Basic Authentication
  • Metadata Framework:
    Access to non-secured objects (previously known as 'Read/Write Permission on Metadata Framework')
