As per SAP Note 3018839, trying to transport activation/deactivation of CDS search connectors.
For example the CDS connector: ESH_S_COSTCENTERV2, this CDS search connector was previously activated via transaction ESH_COCKPIT/ESH_DASHBOARD, so a local MDE was created. As stated in SAP Note 3018839, could not transport this locally generated a MDE, instead, deleted it, and created a new one, and thus transport the new MDE in a new transport request, but, after the transport, in ESH_COCKPIT/ESH_DASHBOARD on target system, the CDS connector status is still not updated.
