3216320 - Error "for Infoobject XXXX: hierarchy version does not exist" occurs when changing work status via BPF activity

Symptom

In BPC embedded environment, when you complete or submit a BPF activity which will change work status automatically, an error occurs "For InfoObject XXXX, hierarchy version does not exist". And below conditions are met.

  • Use automatic work status submit in BPF with option "Include All Descendants" checked, and
  • Work status owner dimension selection is derived from BPF driver dimension selection, and
  • BPF driver dimension member is selected from flat view or hierarchy.
