3216451 - Delivery Blocked Sales Order Item Is Still Considered as Demand in Product Planning

A sales order has been released to customer demand, and it is delivery blocked, however, it still displays as demand in corresponding product planning details screen.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to work center Supply Planning.
2. Go to view Customer Demand.
3. Search ABC (ABC represents sales order ID), we can see sales order item ABC - DF (DF represents line item number) is delivery blocked, its product is XYZ.
4. Click button Open Product Planning Details.
5. In the screen "Product Planning Details: XYZ/PA" (PA represents planning area ID), sales order item ABC - DF still displays as demand.

Only Cancelling or Delivering the sales order item will remove it from planning. Delivery Block is a temporary state and it will not have any influence on the Product Planning Demand availability.

The point of Delivery Block is to prevent the Demand from being released to Delivery, it won't impact the actual assigned Product Planning Demand Quantity.
