3216766 - Failed to create a new database source due to the Internal error <CCL is not able to find itself may be due to too many lib loads>

Symptom

  • When trying to add a new database source using DSConnectionManager.sh, it failed and the following error message was logged in DSConnectionManager.log.

    RUN-305006: Initialization
    Internal error <CCL is not able to find itself may be due to too many lib loads> occurred when loading cryptographic libraries.
    Please contact Customer Support. (errno: 2 - No such file or directory)

  • The issue still remained unresolved after changing the order of /usr/sap/hostctrl in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH as mentioned in SAP KBA 2791321.
