3217184 - How to set correctly the -requestJSChildPorts in the AJS server command line

Symptom

  • After adding the -requestJSChildPorts <lowestport>-<highestport> in the command line of the Adaptive Job Server server, the changes didn't take effects while -requestJSChildPorts is supposed to specify the range of ports that child processes should use in a firewall environment.
  • For example, 6800-6805 limits child processes to six ports.
