3217286 - Custom Cards date range change after saving

Symptom

When creating Custom Cards for Latest Home Page and setting date range, it automatically change to the next or previous day.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Manage Home Page
  2. Under Cards open Organizational Updates
  3. Create or edit a custom card
  4. Set any date range
  5. Save it
  6. The date will change

Cause

The issue is due to the time zones (of the local machine) the date range is set from.

Currently there is no support for time zone for an active period in custom cards which results in the issue where the date is incorrectly set depending from which time zone the user is.

Resolution

This does require a enhancement which is currently planned for 2H 2022 Release.
