3217682 - Product Description In Purchase Order Has Wrong Language

You have created a Purchase Order under the language ABC, but when logged in under the language XYZ, you can still see the Item Description being under language ABC.

You have logged in under language ABC.

You have created a Purchase Order 123 for an Item which has Product Description maintained in both language (ABC and XYZ)

When logged in under language XYZ, you expect the Product Description to be for the language XYZ, however it appears for the language ABC instead.

System is working as expected.

The system will always show the Product Description as per the language under which the Purchase Order was created.

For example, if you are using a Chinese system when created the PO and the description in the master data is in Chinese, when you login using English system, the system will display the description as it is maintained in the master data for Chinese language for this product.

However, if you copy this PO in the English system, you will see that the description will be maintained in English, as per master data.
