3217782 - Auto-populate Tax Fields in Account


You would like to know if it is possible to automatically fill in the Tax Identification Number fields "Tax Country/Region" and "Tax Number Type" on the customer account.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Customers Workcenter.
  2. Go to Accounts view.
  3. Create a new Account. 
  4. You can see that the Tax isn't automatically populated. 


Unfortunately, filling the mentioned Tax Identification Number fields automatically does not make sense from a Standard point of view.
