3218022 - The value of the 'max memory' parameter defined in the configuration file is not high enough to set the other parameter values specified in the configuration file - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • When rebooting ASE, it fails to start with a message :

 The value of the 'max memory' parameter (123456) defined in the configuration file is not high enough to set the other parameter values specified in the configuration file. 'max memory' should be greater than the 'total logical memory' '123999'.

  • The values are just an example, any combination can be seen.
