Symptom

The following example issues (the list is not exhaustive) are reported in the system:

  • SAP ID/User locked often
  • DDIC User locked
  • CALL_FUNCTION_SIGNON_INCOMPL dumps
  • CALL_FUNCTION_SIGNON_REJECTED dumps
  • RFC/CPIC logon failed, reason=24, type=R, method=T 
  • RFC/CPIC logon failed, reason=1, type=F, method=R
  • Multiple RFC/CPIC logon errors in SM20
  • Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)
