3219307 - "The onboarding process for the new hire couldn't be initiated. Please try again later." on Add New Hire to Onboarding - Onboarding

When we initiate onboarding manually, the below error is displayed in both situations: By submitting task right away or by selecting "Provide additional data" and then submitting it.

"The onboarding process for the new hire couldn't be initiated. Please try again later."

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Go to Add New Hire to Onboarding
2. Enter the mandatory field values
3. Click on Initiate Onboarding / or Provide additional data and then Submitting it
4. Following Error is displayed: "The onboarding process for the new hire couldn't be initiated. Please try again later."

Cause 1: Values missing for mandatory keys:

personalInfo.first-name
personalInfo.last-name

(or)

employmentInfo.start-date

(or)

jobInfo.company
jobInfo.manager-id 

Any of the above mentioned fields are not enabled in Manage Business Configuration

Cause 2: When Position is selected (Provide additional data), the Manager field is overridden for "No Manager".

Cause 3: Enable Intelligent Services Center is not enabled

Solution 1: Values missing for mandatory keys

1. Go to Manage Business Configuration
2. Click on "personalInfo"
3. Under "Identifier" , the fields First Name and Last Name is not available
4. Add the standard fields "first-name" and "last-name"
5. Similarly, check for fields "start-date" / "company" and "manager-id" in the Employment Information and Job Information portlet respectively.
6. Enable the fields if they are not configured

Solution 2: After selecting the Position field, check if the Manager field will keep the previously selected Manager, otherwise fulfill it again, but do not leave as "No Manager".

Solution 3: Enable the Enable Intelligent Services Center switch from the Provisioning
