3219321 - Cannot Add Attachment to Bill of Operation

Symptom

The button Add, to add new attachment to Bill of Operation XXX is grayed out.

XXX = Bill of Operation ID

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Planning and Production Master Data work center. 
  2. Select Production Bills Of Operation view. 
  3. Find XXX. 
  4. Open the Bill of Operation XXX. 
  5. Select View All. 
  6. Go to Structure tab. 
  7. Expand the affected operation. 
  8. Select the affected Activity. 
  9. Select Activity Attachments tab. 
  10. Notice that the button Add is grayed out. 

Cause

The operation type of the operation you are using is Check and the Activity type Final Inspection.

Resolution

The system does not allow you to add attachment to operation Check and Activity Final Inspection, this is the expected system behavior.
