3219754 - "Cancel Onboarding" action at the Rehire Verification page does not update the candidate's status in Recruiting - Onboarding

Recruiting status did not get updated from "Success" to "Cancelled" when Cancel Onboarding option was selected in the Rehire Verification page

Expected system behavior

From rehire verification page if you cancel onboarding we don't publish any event because by that time a candidate is not created but only flagged as a possible rehire. If you cancel onboarding from rehire verification page ISE will not know since event is not published and eventually RCM status will not be updated.

There is a technical reason for why event is not published from rehire verification page(Since candidate is not created yet). If you want to cancel onboarding to update the RCM status then please accept as new hire on rehire verification page and then cancel onboarding from the onboarding dashboard.

The cancel onboarding feature on rehire verification page is given for rehire coordinator to decide based whether they want to go ahead with onboarding or not? If they cancel onboarding here it means they don't wish to continue with onboarding and there will not be any candidate/User creation in EC. The onboarding process Trigger will be cancelled.

This Onboarding cancellation process is different from the classic cancel onboarding feature from onboarding dashboard where candidate/user is already created in EC and so we could publish no show event, but not from rehire verification cancel onboarding.

At this step if they want to re-initiate onboarding means they have to mark the candidate status in RCM to cancelled.

To Proceed Next Step : 

1. Go to Check Tool
2. Choose validation 
3. From the Application picklist field -> choose onboarding
4. now you can choose Process trigger object exists for the new hire.
5. Now you can apply the Quick Fix button to enable the  "Initiate onboarding" option for the candidate.
